Empowering women is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s through music, fashion, or creative collaboration, we are passionate about helping women leverage their talents and turn their passions into powerful platforms. When it came time to plan our rebrand shoot, we knew we wanted to work with someone who shared this vision. The first person who came to mind was Melany.

Melany is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist with over six years of experience in the media industry, specializing in line producing and photography. As the daughter of Ecuadorian-Canadian immigrants, her identity profoundly influences her art, inspiring her to create work that reflects her culture and experiences. With Latin women making up only 8% of the film industry, Melany is deeply committed to fostering representation and creating opportunities for marginalized voices. Her passion for elevating others through her art made her the perfect partner for our rebrand shoot.

The concept for the shoot was to encapsulate everything CYRO stands for: two women drawn together by shared passions, celebrating their unique differences, and working seamlessly as a duo with an aligned vision. CYRO is about bridging the worlds of fashion and music while pushing to put women at the forefront of creative industries. This rebrand shoot was an opportunity to showcase that ethos visually, and Melany helped us bring it to life in the best ways we have imagined.

Melany listened carefully to our vision, weaving her expertise and artistic perspective into every detail. From the lighting to the composition, she helped us execute and elevate our ideas, creating imagery that truly embodies who we are: two girls, one sound. Her ability to capture the essence of CYRO—authentic, dynamic, and unapologetically feminine—was nothing short of amazing.
